What is LeMa™ Diet?
The LeMa™ Diet is a personalized carb-cycle diet aiming to boost the metabolism and continue a steady long-term fat loss and muscle gain.
The LeMa™ Diet is dietary strategy that involves alternating between periods of high and low carbohydrate intake. This approach is often used by athletes, bodybuilders, and fitness enthusiasts to optimize their performance, manage body composition, and improve overall health. The basic idea behind carb cycling is to strategically time your carbohydrate consumption to meet your specific goals, whether it's losing body fat, building muscle, or enhancing athletic performance.
What is LeMa™ Diet?
The LeMa™ Diet can be used by various individuals, but it's most commonly employed by:
- Weight Loss and Fat Loss Seekers: We use LeMa™ Diet as Phase III KInD™ Programme. Low-carb days can create a calorie deficit, which may promote fat burning. Mid-carb and High-carb days can help prevent feelings of deprivation.
- Weight Loss Maintenance Phase: We use LeMa™ Diet as Phase III KInD™ Programme as a maintenance strategy once our clients have achieved their desired weight or body composition. It allows for flexibility while preventing excessive weight regain.
- Muscle gain and body building: Individuals aiming to build muscle while minimizing fat gain may find LeMa™ Diet beneficial. Mid- and High-carb days can provide the energy needed for strength training, while low-carb days may help control calorie intake and promote fat loss.
- Diabetics and Blood Sugar Management: Individuals with diabetes may use LeMa™ Diet to help manage blood sugar levels. Careful planning and monitoring are essential.
Key components of LeMa™ Diet
The specific structure of the LeMa™ Diet can vary based on individual goals, activity levels, and preferences. Some people follow a set rotation of high, low, and moderate carb days, while others adjust their carb intake based on their training schedule or how their body responds.
- High Carb Days:
On high carb days, individuals consume a higher percentage of their daily calories from carbohydrates.
These days are often scheduled around intense workouts or training sessions when the body requires more energy (glycogen) to fuel the exercise.
High carb days can help replenish glycogen stores in muscles and improve workout performance. - Low Carb Days:
Low carb days involve reducing the intake of carbohydrates significantly.
This encourages the body to use stored fat as a primary source of energy, promoting fat loss.
Low carb days are often scheduled on rest days or during less intense training periods when the body's energy needs are lower.
Carbohydrate sources on these days are typically restricted to non-starchy vegetables and small amounts of low-carb options. - Moderate Carb Days:
Some carb cycling plans incorporate moderate carb days between high and low carb days.
On these days, carbohydrate intake falls between the levels of high and low carb days.
They provide a balance between energy and fat-burning potential and can be used to maintain weight or support a more balanced approach to nutrition.
LeMa™ Diet is also used as the Phase III diet plan to transit you from the weight loss to muscle gain
Phase III LeMa™ Diet
The LeMa™ Diet is the Phase III Diet of KInD™ Program. We also call it "Slow weight loss + muscle gain phase". It can aid in simultaneous fat loss and muscle gain through several mechanisms. By strategically alternating between high and low carbohydrate days, it helps control calorie intake, creating a calorie deficit on low-carb days that promotes fat burning. High-carb days, timed around intense workouts, provide the energy needed for effective strength training, helping to build and preserve muscle mass.
Furthermore, LeMa™ Diet can enhance insulin sensitivity. Lower-carb days reduce insulin spikes, which can facilitate fat breakdown and minimize fat storage. At the same time, high-carb days replenish muscle glycogen stores, supporting optimal workout performance and muscle recovery.

You can examine your Body Mass Index (BMI) and Waist-to-Hip ratio on this platform.
The BMI enables us to approximate your overall fat mass and determine whether you experience overweight or obesity.
The Waist-to-Hip ratio indicates whether you have central obesity.
The BMI cut-offs for different ethnicities are based on "Lim, J. U. et al. (2017). Comparison of World Health Organization and Asia-Pacific body mass index classifications in COPD patients. International journal of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, 12, 2465–2475. "
